For a start, there is a standard 5.3-liter V8 gasoline engine with 355 hp and 385 lb-ft of torque. Upper trim levels are using a larger 6.2-liter engine option. This V8 unit is capable of producing 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Both gasoline variants are available with a direct fuel management system and the stop-start system.
On top of that, even the Dynamic Fuel Control with cylinder deactivation is in offer. Lastly, there is a 3.0-liter diesel engine. It is a perfect output for off-road variants such as Z71. This engine delivers 277 horsepower and up to 460 lb-ft of twisting power. With a diesel engine in use, Tahoe tows almost 8500 pounds.
2022 Chevy Tahoe Release Date, Price
The approaching 2022 Chevy Tahoe will now cost almost $50,000. The LT trim level is an even better option and it is available for about $54,000. The range-topping High Country trim starts at over $70,000. Chevrolet will release its new model in the coming months, most likely in the last quarter of the year.
