The forthcoming 2022 Genesis GV80 looks premium and very attractive. Everything is so stylish, from interesting design cues to amazing exterior features. The side profile looks handsome and GV80 SUV is 194.7 inches long.
It is the same length as the length of the BMW X5 model. Refreshments are minor for 2022MY but there is no need for radical moves at the moment. Off-roading ability is more than solid, thanks to the electronic suspension system.
Interior Gets More Tech
The interior of the new 2022 Genesis GV80 is very spacious and practical. However, the three-row variant does not offer ample legroom. The two-row version is the real deal as it offers everything. It is a modern cabin design with a long list of standard equipment. Generally, GV80 comes with a high level of comfort, using the leatherette and Nappa leather upholstery.
The new model will gain an updated infotainment system. On top of that, GV80 offers a wider 14.5-inch display. Performances
The new model will continue to offer the same two engine options as the outgoing SUV. The 2022 Genesis GV80 comes with a standard 2.5-liter turbo-four engine that generates 300 horsepower. A rear-wheel-drive system is offered as standard, while the all-wheel-drive setup is once again optional.
A 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 is the second powertrain option. This unit is capable of producing 375 horsepower, which is a lot of power. Both variants are available with the same eight-speed automatic transmission.
2022 Genesis GV80 Release Date, Price
The all-new 2022 Genesis GV80 will arrive by the end of the current year. It is a brand’s flagship model but the 2022MY won’t introduce drastic changes. Because of that, the price will once again start at around $49,000. As before, upper trim levels are available from $60k to $70k. The luxury SUV segment is growing and the GV80 model will face a lot of rivals. That includes models such as Audi Q7, Acura MDX, BMW X5, and Mercedes-Benz GLE.
