The next 2023 Audi Q8 will introduce a couple of big upgrades. Mild enhancements, somewhat more standard equipment, and additional packages were included with the 2022MY. Audi will now make a number of changes before the new-generation Q8 arrives in the next two years. We should expect a more luxurious cabin and improved aesthetics as a result of this.
Unfortunately, there will be no under-the-hood upgrades available from the manufacturer. This means the Q8 SUVs will once again provide a potent V8 engine and mild-hybrid V6 variant. The sales will begin this summer and Audi will reveal more details in the coming weeks.
Audi Q8 Specs
There will be two outputs available in the 2023 Audi Q8. As there will be no changes under the hood, a 3.0-liter V6 engine will remain the standard option. This gasoline unit provides 335 hp and 370 lb-ft of torque. Moreover, it can be had with a hybrid system. Thanks to that, it provides good fuel economy ratings.
However, the SQ8 model with a potent 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine is the real deal. This model is capable of producing 500 horsepower and up to 570 lb-ft of torque. No matter which engine you opt for, Audi provides an 8-speed automatic transmission and AWD system.
Interior Changes
The 2023 Audi Q8 comes with an interior that will offer more standard features as well as some brand-new high-tech elements. The comfort is outstanding, which is unsurprising given that this is a high-end SUV. Audi offers both traditional leather and Alcantara materials for upholstery. The Q7 SUV has a three-row seven-seat arrangement, but the Q8 SUV only has a five-seat layout.
Still, this is a very comfortable and roomy SUV. Audi will improve its famous virtual cockpit, and we also expect a new MMI infotainment system. The base variant provides an 8.6-inch touchscreen, but upper trim levels are available with an impressive 10.1-inch unit.
New Exterior Colors
A major redesign will not be included in the 2023 upgrade. When the new generation appears, the exterior will be redesigned. This brings us to the 2023 Audi Q8 model and its mild facelift. A new architecture will not be launched anytime soon. Instead, a new lighting system, redesigned bumpers, and new exterior colors will be included in the facelift.
Furthermore, the Q8 SUV will have new lines and will be more angular than the current model. The roofline of the Q8 model is also more slanted, giving it a sportier appearance. This SUV rides on 20-inch wheels. However, 22-inch wheels are available on the sporty Black Optic package. This model comes with impressive Matrix LED headlamps and LED taillights.
2023 Audi Q8 Price and Release Date
The all-new 2023 Audi Q8 will cost more than its predecessor, but not significantly more. This SUV will start at around $68,000, while the SQ8 will cost above $100k. Audi will launch a new model this summer and we are waiting to hear more official details in the coming months.
