The next 2023 Chevrolet Blazer may receive more substantial updates. However, this is not yet official. The mid-cycle facelift for the 2022MY is soon to arrive. This implies that the 2023 Blazer will have more drastic changes. Blazer is currently on its third generation. It is a stylish and sophisticated mid-size crossover SUV. Years ago, it was a truck-based SUV that posed one of the most serious rivals of the Ford Bronco.
The Blazer now has nothing in common with the brand’s pickup trucks. It is a unique crossover with superb styling that is more similar to the Camaro model than ever before. We also anticipate more cabin upgrades. Nothing will change under the hood, but Blazer may introduce the well-known and sportier SS model.
Chevrolet Blazer Facelift
Chevy introduced the Blazer model two years ago as a mid-size SUV with a distinct design. As previously said, because this is a new model, the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer will not offer a redesign. However, certain styling adjustments are on the way. The front fascia is designed to look more like a Camaro model, making the Blazer appear sportier than previously.
The narrow headlights and larger two-tiered grille distinguish this mid-size SUV. The fenders have been lifted, but the sloping roofline has remained the same. The rear section has the same spoiler and massive exhaust tips. Blazer will reintroduce the Driver Confidence II package, which has proven to be a popular buying option among customers. We are still waiting for official updates, but we anticipate more changes than in prior years.
The new 2023 Chevrolet Blazer has a premium interior design and a slew of high-tech features. The larger circular air vents and flowing trim pieces appear to be a fantastic addition. Blazer also comes with a fairly sophisticated instrument cluster. The Blazer is a mid-size SUV with plenty of passenger room and a good level of comfort.
In terms of changes, this model will get a few technological upgrades, such as a new infotainment system. In addition, Blazer should have more driver-assist features. The base model retains the same 8-inch touchscreen, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and Wi-Fi. Upper trim levels will have leather seats, a bigger display, and generally, more standard equipment.
Three Engine Options
Nothing will change under the hood, thus the powertrain options for the 2023 Chevrolet Blazer will remain the same. There will be three powertrain options, like before. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine powers the base variant. This engine produces 195 horsepower and 188 lb-ft of torque. The Blazer remains a front-wheel-drive crossover SUV, with no option for all-wheel drive with this engine.
The optional 2.0-liter turbo-four develops 280 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque and comes with AWD. Finally, as an option, a 3.6-liter V6 engine is offered. A strong V6 engine can produce up to 310 hp and a torque of 270 lb-ft. Regardless of the engine you choose, a nine-speed automatic transmission is available.
2023 Chevrolet Blazer Launch Date and Price
The price of the upcoming 2023 Chevrolet Blazer will start at $30,000, more or less. The range-topping version will surely cost above $45,000 once again. This premium crossover SUV will go on sale later next year and it could also arrive with the sporty SS variant.
