The forthcoming 2023 Kia Telluride is going on sale soon, and it will have some minor changes. First, the prototype for 2023 Telluride was caught testing in South Korea last month. Then the first renderings started to show up, too. From what we saw, the next model will be updated, and it will have a lot of changes in the front and back sections.
We also learned that it would come with more standard equipment than before, giving it a great and spacious interior. As before, the new SUV will be driven by the same V6 gasoline engine. Even though this SUV has a powerful engine, it can only tow 5,000 pounds at a time.
Kia Telluride Exterior Upgrades
We don’t think the 2023 new Kia Telluride will look very different when it comes out later this year. In place of that, we think Kia will make some changes to the front fascia. It will add new graphics to the headlights, and it will change the shape of the grille to make it more noticeable.
With this facelift, we’ve also heard that LED lights that are built into the bumper might be gone. To make things a little more interesting, there will also be a few changes to the taillights and rear bumper on the new model as well. The look of this SUV will change depending on the trim level. As you can see, Kia prepared a nice facelift, although the redesign is not on the cards yet.
Interior
Because the Telluride SUV is still a new model, we think it will get a few small changes inside to keep up with its competitors. That’s not all: The new 2023 Kia Telluride will still have three rows of seats like the old one did. It’s because of this that the Kia Telluride can fit seven people inside.
The interior of the new model will be dominated by the same dashboard. Given that the Telluride currently features one of the largest 10.25-inch touchscreens for infotainment, we don’t expect any major modifications on the inside. It also comes with things like wireless phone charging, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and a 10-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
Engine Specifications
The upcoming 2023 Kia Telluride has the same engine as the one that came before it. The current model has a 3.8-liter V6 gasoline engine that can make 291 horsepower. This engine doesn’t have a turbocharger or a supercharger, but it still has enough power to get the job done.
As far as we can tell, this V6 engine will come standard with an 8-speed automated transmission and front-wheel-drive setup. Yes, you can get an all-wheel-drive system as an extra. On the bright side, the Telluride can go about 400 miles with a full tank and it can also tow 5,000 pounds.
2023 Kia Telluride Release Date, Price
The next 2023 Kia Telluride will start at $33,000. The price seems to remain intact, despite some important upgrades. On the other hand, the range-topping trim level will set you at $47,000. The sales will begin this summer and this SUV will continue to rival Ford Explorer and Hyundai Palisade models.
