The 2023 Toyota bZ4X is a mid-size all-electric SUV that will be available later in 2022. This model offers a significant advancement thanks to a fresh design language and possibly the nicest cabin to date. Furthermore, the next SUV will be offered in two trim levels as an all-electric model.
The base model with FWD has a driving range of about 250 miles, while the dual-motor system with an AWD setup has a range of about 230 miles. As a result, the Toyota bZ4X has a longer range than electric competitors such as the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Volkswagen ID.4, and Chevy Bolt EUV.
Toyota bZ4X Looks Incredibly Modern
The upcoming 2023 Toyota bZ4X will have an extremely futuristic look with a sharper front fascia. The new bZ4X will use the same e-TNGA architecture as the Subaru Solterra model. Aside from the angular front fascia, the new model has massive fender flares, thinner headlamps, and very modern LED taillights. The bZ4X’s design is comparable to the Kia EV6, adopting a crossover wagon style. In general, the forthcoming SUV resembles the Subaru Solterra more than other models based on the same chassis.
We can see from the photographs that the 2023 Toyota bZ4X will have a more futuristic appearance than any other Toyota model. The interior is roomy, with seating for five people in two rows. The bZ4X stands out thanks to a huge central touchscreen and a digital instrument cluster that is visible in front of the driver.
The new model, like the majority of Toyota cars, will include features such as wireless charging, various phone integrations, and a good sound system. On top of that, the bZ4X is quite safe, and it comes standard with Toyota’s Safety Sense 3.0 package of active driving aids. The package contains some new aids such as guardrail detection and low-light cyclist detection. Besides that, this SUV will offer the usual safety features as well.
Driving Range and Charging
According to the Japanese carmaker, the 2023 Toyota bZ4X will be offered in two trim levels: XLE and Limited. The base variant will have a standard FWD configuration, a single motor, and a driving range of around 250 miles with a 64-kWh battery pack. The Limited model, on the other hand, will feature a dual-motor configuration with an AWD system. According to Toyota, this crossover SUV will have a range of about 230 miles.
When compared to other competitors in its class, the bZ4X is comparable to electric rivals such as the Kia Niro EV. Toyota also announced that the bZ4X will be compatible with fast-charging technology, with a 150-kW fast charger allowing you to charge it 80 percent in half an hour.
