Following the earlier spy photographs, we now have the first set of renderings for the upcoming 2024 Audi Q5. The new SUV has a more modern design and is treated similarly to Audi’s most recent electric crossover, the Q4 E-Tron. The front fascia is equal to the original model, but it is slightly wider.
Furthermore, the current Audi Q5 has side mirrors at the bottom, as opposed to earlier mirrors that were pushed back toward the driver. The revised model will be available in 2023, most likely in the summer. The price will go up, but it won’t be a dramatic jump in terms of cost.
Audi Q5 Redesign, Spy Shots
The first spy shots of the new 2024 Audi Q5 are already available on the internet, and the new SUV appears to be sportier. To begin, the next-generation Q5 has been observed testing with a completely new front fascia. The identical approach appears to have been used by the manufacturer on the Q4 E-Tron.
The grille is wider than before, and the headlights are thinner. Thanks to that, the front end looks very modern, while keeping that sporty vibe. The SUV is also somewhat longer than the current Q5, which is presumably due to a new hybrid powertrain option. As a result, we should expect additional legroom and cargo capacity. The rear section, like the front, has highly modern taillights and a redesigned bumper. New exterior colors are on the way as well.
Interior Updates
As for the interior, we’ll have to wait a little more to hear official details. The future 2024 Audi Q5 is projected to have a completely new cabin design with more passenger room. This implies that a new interior layout incorporating some of Audi’s most recent displays is on the way. Of course, this SUV will have more standard features and the most recent technologies.
This contains a variety of driver-assist features too. Nonetheless, this SUV will not be capable of self-driving, from what we know. In any case, expect a highly modern and comfortable interior, with lots of high-tech features.
Q5 SUV Will Offer Hybrid Power
In terms of performance, the new 2024 Audi Q5 will ride on hybrid power. We don’t know all of the details, but it seems that the 2.0-liter engine will remain. It is a turbo-four unit that comes with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. On top of that, it generates 200 hp and 235 lb-ft of torque. Audi’s AWD Quattro will be on offer again. However, a mild-hybrid system is coming.
This version will produce up to 260 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque, which is quite an improvement. A plug-in hybrid model will also be available, using a 17.9-kWh battery pack and providing around 362 horses and 370 lb-ft of torque.
2024 Audi Q5 Release Date and Price
The next 2024 Audi Q5 will be more expensive than the outgoing model. The new-gen model will cost closer to $46,000, per reports. The sales will begin next summer, although the official launch could be moved to the last quarter of the year.
