The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV is an all-electric remake of one of the last century’s most iconic, tough off-road models. The upcoming 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV will borrow the powertrain from the Hummer truck. The SUV variant will deploy two or even three electric motors. The dual-motor setup will be offered as standard and this SUV will produce around 625 horsepower. As for the three-motor version, GMC claimed 830 horses, which is simply astonishing.
We don’t know why the torque figures are misleading, but the manufacturer estimates 7400 and 11,500 lb-ft of torque. Instead, many experts are predicting up to 1000 lb-ft of torque for the most powerful output. The Hummer EV SUV will sprint from 0 to 60 mph in 3.5 seconds, approximately.
Battery Capacity and Driving Range
As we mentioned before, the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV will use a new Ultium battery technology. According to the manufacturer, this battery pack is more eco-friendly and will provide an astonishing driving range.
The dual-motor variant comes with a standard 400-volt electric system, while a three-motor setup comes with an 800-volt system. The Hummer EV SUV should use a 200-kWh battery pack and it will provide over 300 miles of driving range. Fast-charging is possible but charging time is still a mystery.
Exterior and Interior
Again, the 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV will look like the Hummer EV Truck. Logically, the SUV comes in a different shape and different dimensions, but the design language is basically the same. The SUV also comes with a shorter wheelbase, 126.7 inches to be precise. On the other hand, the truck variant offers 135.6 inches long wheelbase. The manufacturer will provide a lot of off-road equipment and unique driving modes.
On the inside, Hummer EV SUV looks futuristic. It offers a three-dimensional dashboard with both horizontal and vertical air vents. A pair of large displays are standard, including a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster. The materials are top-quality and generally, the whole cabin is very premium and upright. A removable roof is on offer and this SUV provides 82 cubic feet of cargo room.

The price of the brand-new 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV will start at around $80,000. The range-topping variant will cost above $100,000. The sales will begin in early 2023, according to multiple sources. However, we don’t know yet when the reservations will begin.
