Engine Specs, Battery Packs, Charging
In terms of performance, the upcoming 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQG won’t fail you. It will be state-of-the-art technology, using up to four electric motors. The idea is not new, as the EQS sedan already provides the same technology. However, the new platform will help EQG SUVs store bigger motors and batteries. The base variant will come with two electric motors, producing around 520 horsepower. The two-motor EQS sedan has a driving range of around 480 miles.
As for the EQG SUV, it should have less than that. However, a bigger battery pack should help this model achieve 400 miles of range with ease. We are waiting to hear official details, especially regarding the model with four electric motors. A 108-kWh battery pack will be standard, and a 200-kW fast charging technology will be in use.
Date and Price of the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQG
Some reports are saying that the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQG will go on sale next summer. We think the all-electric EQG will arrive a couple of months after that, as Mercedes is still transforming the concept into a production model. A price of around $150,000 is expected, which is quite reasonable for a luxury EV such as the Mercedes EQG.
