2024 Nissan Armada to Replace V8 Engine?

When it comes to full-size SUVs, the 2024 Nissan Armada will be one of the most reliable models. This large model currently offers a potent V8 engine, a modern design, and a quite upscale interior. The next version will introduce a couple of modest updates.

However, the biggest upgrade should happen under the hood. Thanks to that, Armada will gain slightly more power, but it will get significantly improved fuel efficiency. In some other countries, Armada is available as a Nissan Patrol SUV. As before, Armada will continue to compete with Toyota Sequoia and Chevy Tahoe.

Nissan Armada Gets New Engine

The upcoming 2024 Nissan Armada may receive a new powertrain option. Despite being strong and loud, the modern V8 is also thirsty. Along with the Chevy Tahoe SUV, the Armada has continued to be one of the only full-size SUVs with a V8 engine. That is about to change, according to the most recent rumors. The current 5.6-liter V8 engine produces up to 400 hp, but replacement is on the way.

Two candidates are in the mix right now. The first one is a well-known 3.5-liter V6 gas engine. The second option is a 3.8-liter variant. Anyhow, we anticipate competitive power numbers combined with good fuel efficiency. The new engine will produce around 400 hp, which isn’t an improvement. However, a higher level of torque and improved fuel economy ratings are the main benefits of the new engine.

Interior Changes

On the inside, the Armada SUV should introduce a couple of changes. This model has three rows of seats and it offers a room for eight passengers. It is a nice cabin design overall. However, the 2024 Nissan Armada will gain important updates, starting with an updated infotainment system. The dashboard will see minor tweaks, but the interior room will be the same as it is now.

There will be new driver-assist aids as well. The biggest upgrade will be a new 12.3-inch touchscreen. On top of that, the new Armada will deliver additional USB ports, Wi-Fi hotspots, three-zone climate control, and more. The most luxurious variant comes with a premium sound system, moonroof, leather upholstery, and wireless device charging.

Nice Mid-Cycle Facelift

You can find a lot of speculations regarding the redesign of the 2024 Nissan Armada. In our opinion, this won’t happen yet, as this full-size SUV received a nice makeover two years ago. As a result, the current Armada model looks upright and modern. Therefore, this SUV will probably gain a mild facelift instead.

The mid-cycle facelift will cover cool tweaks on the front fascia. Thanks to that, we expect to see upgraded headlights and a modified grille. On the other hand, the layout of the front section will remain intact. Nissan will drop some exterior colors and introduce new ones. We also expect a new optional appearance package or some sort of edition that will make this large SUV sportier.

2024 Nissan Armada Release Date and Price

The price of the new 2024 Nissan Armada will start at around $51,000 and it will move up from there. The sales will begin later this summer or in early fall.
