The 2024 Toyota C-HR is a compact crossover that offers a lot of impressive features. This stylish model first hit the market in 2016 and it is sold in both Europe and the US. The C-HR, which stands for Coupe High-Rider, boasts a unique and sporty design. The cabin is elegant and the sloping roofline adds to the overall spacious feel.
While the European market offers a hybrid powertrain option, unfortunately, the current US model is only available with a petrol engine. The upcoming model will come with some exciting updates, but it won’t be a complete redesign or anything similar.
The 2024 Toyota C-HR is expected to receive a mild facelift with some updates to its appearance. The current design has been present since its launch in 2016 and received minor changes in the previous year.
The upcoming model is not expected to undergo a major redesign, but instead, it will likely have some cosmetic upgrades such as new exterior colors and an appearance package. The TNGA platform will remain, and the vehicle’s dimensions are expected to be the same. Furthermore, some minor tweaks on the front fascia and new optional wheels are also anticipated.
The interior of the upcoming 2024 Toyota C-HR will feature several updates and modern amenities, though a significant overhaul is not expected. The cabin already offers an impressive list of features and materials for its price. The standard offer includes an 8-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth, Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and multiple USB ports.
Additional features such as push-button start, Wi-Fi hotspot, and two-zone climate control are also available. The new model will also introduce new safety features. Overall, the ride quality is good, and the cabin is a comfortable place to be.
The 2024 Toyota C-HR unfortunately won’t be getting a new engine option and will continue with the same 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine that delivers 145 hp and 140 lb-ft of torque. While the engine offers a smooth and quiet ride, some customers may be disappointed by the lack of a more powerful engine option.
The C-HR comes with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and has a fuel efficiency rating of 27 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway. The front-wheel drive system is still available as standard.
The forthcoming 2024 Toyota C-HR will hit the markets later this summer and the price will start at about $24,000. Since the changes are quite minor, the price remains the same. However, the C-HR crossover will probably get a redesign next year, which is why we expect a price increase.
