2023 Nissan Murano Release Date, Redesign

The upcoming 2023 Nissan Murano will finally gain significant updates. It is a mid-size crossover SUV that comes with a good reputation and is known for impressive ride quality. Moreover, the interior is incredibly sporty and the credit goes to supportive seats. This makes Murano a perfect model for longer family trips.

So, if the 2023 Murano is going to be completely redesigned, we don’t think there’s any doubt that it will have a lot of new features. We expect a completely new design, both mechanically and in terms of how it looks. There is a chance that the current engine will stay the same but the transmission will be different. On top of that, the cabin will be completely overhauled and filled with the latest high-tech features.

Nissan Murano Redesign

The next 2023 Nissan Murano will have a wheelbase of 111.2 inches again, just like the old one. The overall proportions may change a little, but the overall layout is likely to stay the same. Once again, a two-row mid-size crossover will have a completely new look and we can’t wait to see it.

Nissan will undoubtedly provide the brand’s new design language, which was first used on models such as Pathfinder and Rogue. The front end should look like the new Pathfinder, and some sources say it will have a slightly sloping roof that will appeal to younger customers.

Interior Overhaul

The dimensions of the new 2023 Nissan Murano could be the same or very similar to the current model, which would mean that it would also have the same amount of space inside. Given that the current model is already very spacious, we don’t think there will be a lot of extra space in the next model. The cargo area, on the other hand, would almost certainly benefit from some extra space. While the amount of interior room will stay the same, we think the aesthetics will be very different.

The modern cabin, especially the dashboard, looks like it’s been made from scratch. We also expect to see new shapes and new materials. The result is an impressive interior with great comfort and a lot of standard high-tech amenities. As we said, Murano is already a very comfortable model and a new one could be even better. Lastly, Nissan will deliver the latest driver-assistance aids, an updated infotainment system, and much more.

Engine Specs

The powertrain lineup for the new 2023 Nissan Murano is likely to stay the same, but there’s a chance it will change. Expect the same 3.5-liter V6 engine. It now has about 260 horsepower, but the next version could have more power. On the other hand, there will be a lot of changes, including a new gearbox.

In the future, the CVT transmission, which isn’t very exciting, will be replaced by a 9-speed automatic transmission. This change is sure to make the ride better. Some sources also say that there could be a hybrid model as well. However, this seems less likely at the moment.

2023 Nissan Murano Release Date, Price

The brand-new 2023 Nissan Murano will now cost $34,000, which is a small price increase. This modern mid-size crossover SUV will hit the dealerships this summer. Nissan will provide more information in the coming weeks. Hopefully, Murano will gain a hybrid powertrain as an option.
