2024 Kia EV9: Everything You Need to Know

The 2024 Kia EV9 will become the brand’s first-ever electric crossover SUV. Since this model will start being produced this year, sales should begin sometime in 2023. The all-new Hyundai Ioniq 7 model’s chassis will be shared by the two electric motors in the Kia EV9 as well.

The car’s specifications are already known, and according to Kia, the EV9 model would have a dual-motor setup and generate lots of power. On the other hand, there are no specifics regarding battery capacities, but many experts anticipate a driving range of about 300 miles. While we are waiting for additional details, here’s what we know at the moment.

Kia EV9 Delivers Over 300 Miles of Driving Range

As we previously stated, there are a few performance-related details we are aware of for the upcoming 2024 Kia EV9. The EV6 version’s dual-motor arrangement will generate 576 horsepower. According to several experts, the larger EV9 variant will generate about 600 horsepower. On the other hand, we have no information regarding the sizes of the batteries.

On a single charge, this model is said to have a driving range of about 300 miles. Although the RWD option will probably be standard, the AWD setup will be available as an option. A 350-kilowatt charger is offered for quick charging. However, the Korean automaker will provide additional information in the following weeks. We expect incredible performances from this crossover in any case.

Exterior Design

The brand-new 2024 Kia EV9 will look futuristic and premium. The EV6 model shares the same chassis as this one, however, the EV9 will be larger. It is a reliable skateboard platform that can hold larger batteries, electric motors, and other mechanical parts.

This SUV boasts elegant lines and an attractive exterior. While the EV9 model borrows some elements from the EV6 version, it gets a design that is unquestionably more modern. Furthermore, it is a longer vehicle, and Kia claims that the EV9 will be closer to the Kia Telluride in terms of size.

Interior Review

While the EV6 looks upright, the new 2024 Kia EV9 will be more upright. There will be room for six passengers. Kia will offer recyclable materials, like most of the new EVs. The interior of this crossover is therefore very environmentally friendly.

The EV9 sports a broad panoramic sunroof and a big 27-inch infotainment touchscreen. To determine whether this is true, we must wait for the production model. Kia is yet to deliver details regarding the trim levels and optional packages.

2024 Kia EV9 Launch Date and Price

Reportedly, the new 2024 Kia EV9 will hit dealerships in the second half of 2023. The production is about to begin, so we are hoping to hear all details in the coming weeks. From what we know, the base trim level will cost $50,000. Some reports are predicting four trim levels, and the range-topping trim will cost around $65,000. Kia plans to introduce 11 EVs by 2026. The EV6 and EV9 models are just the beginning, so stay tuned, as Kia is about to drop a couple of exciting models very soon.
