2022 Cadillac Escalade Continues to Offer Luxury

The 2022 Cadillac Escalade is a popular SUV that should arrive with minor changes. Escalade is one of the best-selling SUVs in the United States and significant change won’t happen this or next year. On the inside, the 2022 Cadillac Escalade will introduce some upgrades. For a start, the manufacturer will introduce more premium materials and some cheap plastics will be replaced. Thanks to that, an already upright cabin will provide even more luxury. Comfort is admirable and even the interior room is generous. The third-row passengers won’t have any problem with tight spaces, because all three rows are spacious enough.

The Escalade SUV comes with an updated infotainment system and the latest driver-assistance aids. On top of that, we expect to see a longer list of standard features as well. The base trim level comes with tri-zone climate control, an impressive OLED screen, and leatherette upholstery. That is more than enough luxury. However, if you want real luxury, upper trim levels are just amazing.

Engines, Transmission, MPG

As we said, the 2022 Cadillac Escalade will continue to offer the same 6.2-liter V8 engine. This powertrain option is capable of producing 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Cadillac offers a standard automatic cylinder deactivation system and a 10-speed automatic transmission. This engine is rated at only 14 mpg in the city and 20 mpg on the highway, which is the biggest issue.

On the other hand, a 3.0-liter turbodiesel engine is optional. The diesel engine develops 280 hp and 460 lb-ft of twisting power. Additionally, this engine offers the same 10-speed automatic transmission, but its fuel economy ratings are slightly better.

2022 Cadillac Escalade Price, Release Date

This luxury full-size SUV will cost around $75,000. On the other hand, its range-topping trim level is available for about $100,000. The 2022 Cadillac Escalade will hit the dealerships by the end of 2021. Most likely, Escalade will arrive in the last quarter of the year.
