The forthcoming 2022 Buick Enclave is getting a redesign. This popular three-row SUV is coming to the markets later in 2021. At this point, we know basically everything about this model and its latest upgrades. Enclave is a luxury SUV that comes with elegance, a modern appearance, and great performance.
New Enclave should arrive with numerous cosmetic upgrades and even the interior will gain additional updates. The current model is modern enough and it offers a lot of equipment. However, the manufacturer clearly wants to make its new Enclave even better and more competitive. The new engine is the only mystery at the moment, but it is a possibility.
The all-new 2022 Buick Enclave will suffer a redesign. The latest photos are showing the new design and we think the new model is looking very attractive. This three-row SUV will get the most notable upgrades upfront. The front fascia now hosts a revised grille and reshaped headlights. The front part also wears additional chrome accents and it looks more stylish as a result.
On the other hand, the Enclave Avenir trim offers an exclusive front grille with a honeycomb pattern. The rear section of the base Enclave SUV will sport new taillights. This model is dimensionally the same as its predecessor. The platform won’t change so Enclave remains a 204 inches long SUV. Lastly, Buick offers standard 18-inch wheels.
The interior of the 2022 Buick Enclave also gets a couple of improvements. Buick will deliver more standard amenities and even greater use of high-quality materials. Thanks to that, Enclave SUV will offer even better comfort. The interior design and its layout won’t change at all.
However, a new infotainment system will be in offer, along with the latest safety aids. The biggest upgrade is the all-new and larger 10.2-inch touchscreen. We hope to see some new optional packages and even more updates. However, Buick is yet to reveal all details about the interior and its novelties.
As we said, a new engine is a possibility, but this is not official yet. The 2022 Buick Enclave could get a 2.0-liter turbo-four engine. This engine is available in models such as GMC Acadia and Cadillac XT6. A 3.6-liter V6 will remain the standard engine option. It develops 310 hp and up to 265 lb-ft of torque.
Buick offers a nine-speed automatic transmission, as before. The platform won’t change so Enclave remains the front-wheel-drive SUV with an optional all-wheel-drive setup. The ride quality is superb and everything about this SUV is so elegant and quiet.
The price of the upcoming 2022 Buick Enclave will now start at about $42,000. Enclave SUV is available in Preferred, Essence, Premium, and Avenir trim levels. All trim levels will gain more standard equipment and some new optional amenities. Because of that, and new styling, the price is higher than before. The manufacturer will launch its new three-row SUV by the end of 2021.
