2023 Chevrolet Traverse Comes with Mid-Cycle Facelift

The approaching 2023 Chevrolet Traverse will have a more roomy cabin, more technologies, and a revised appearance. The Traverse model is one of the larger alternatives in the mid-size SUV market and it has so much to offer.

This SUV has lots of interior space to make road trips enjoyable for the entire family. Overall, it has one of the greatest cargo capacities, outperforming direct competitors such as Toyota Highlander or Ford Explorer. The Traverse SUV comes with a potent V6 gasoline engine that produces plenty of power while remaining efficient. Furthermore, an all-wheel drive is available as an option.

Chevrolet Traverse Exterior Upgrades and Dimensions

The next 2023 Chevrolet Traverse is one of the class’s largest SUVs. This version is 204 inches long, which is over 10 inches longer than the mentioned Highlander. Moreover, this model will reportedly receive a minor cosmetic refresh over the current version.

According to our sources, the new SUV will have a far more appealing grille, redesigned front and back fascias, and improved LED headlamp signatures. The Traverse RS trim level is popular because it appears to be quite sporty. The High Country is the range-topping model, featuring chrome accents and impressive 20-inch wheels.

Interior Refreshments

The upcoming 2023 Chevrolet Traverse is a fairly spacious SUV that can seat seven or eight people. Furthermore, the cabin is modern thanks to the use of premium materials. In any case, upgrading to the top-tier High Country will provide you with even more luxury.

As previously stated, the Traverse has a roomy cabin, similar to that of several minivans, especially when the second and third rows are folded down. Chevy equipped the cabin with a slew of cutting-edge features. It has a high-mounted touchscreen, standard wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, and other useful features.

Reliable V6 Gasoline Engine Remains

From what we know, the current engine will remain under the hood. The 2023 Chevrolet Traverse is powered by a 3.6-liter V6 engine that generates 310 horsepower. As standard, it transmits power to the front wheels via a smooth-shifting nine-speed automatic transmission. Of course, Chevy offers all-wheel drive as an option, which improves handling on slick surfaces.

In addition, the Traverse has an automatic stop/start technology that saves gasoline when the SUV is idling. According to the EPA, the AWD Traverse provides a fuel economy of 27 mpg on the highway, which is the best fuel consumption among its biggest rivals.

2023 Chevrolet Traverse Release Date, Price

The forthcoming 2023 Chevrolet Traverse comes in five trim levels. The base LS starts at $35,000, and the sporty RS at $45,000. Upper trim levels such as the Premier and High Country are available for $48,000 and $53,000.

The new model is expected to be on sale later next year as one of the larger options in the mid-size SUV segment. The Traverse will continue to rival models such as Kia Telluride, Ford Explorer, and Toyota Highlander. Chevy will reveal more details in the coming weeks and hopefully, Traverse could gain more dramatic upgrades.
