2023 Ford Edge Marks the Beginning of the New Generation

According to recent reports, the next-generation 2023 Ford Edge will debut next year. The second generation was introduced in 2015, and the 2023MY is expected to feature significant advancements. Surprisingly, the 2022 Edge already features several changes, including a larger touchscreen for the infotainment system.

We should anticipate numerous improvements to the new Edge. This update introduces new styling, cabin, and powertrain configurations. Regrettably, we will have to await official confirmation from the Detroit-based manufacturer. Ford Edge Exterior Redesign

This model is using a familiar 2.7-liter V6 gasoline engine. It will develop up to 335 horsepower and it comes with a standard all-wheel-drive setup. Both engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission, but the ST comes equipped with paddle shifters. The Edge Hybrid is still a rumor. According to reports, this version will include a bigger hybrid system than the Escape Hybrid. This results in increased power but decreased fuel efficiency compared to the Escape model.

2023 Ford Edge Price, Release Date

The approaching 2023 Ford Edge will have a starting price of approximately $34,500. Ford intends to debut its new SUV next summer. The Blue Oval is yet to reveal additional details, including the Edge SUV’s hybrid variant. Interestingly, you may find a couple of rumors about the Ford Edge and Lincoln Nautilus models ceasing manufacture. Naturally, this will not occur.
